CycleCups are made of medical-grade silicone and can minimize the risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) and other infections. The material used is also free from BPA and phthalates. Ongoing inspections by our manufacturers confirm this. Recently, a study highlighted the dangers of byproducts such as heavy metals in various tampon brands in Europe and America. CycleCups can offer greater comfort as they do not absorb the vagina's natural moisture. In addition, the blood is trapped inside the cup and does not come into contact with the air.This means there are no unpleasant odors (unlike when disposing of tampons or pads later in the garbage can).
